Michael David Anderson (December 29, 1958 – February 8, 2026)

Michael David Anderson of Lowell, IN passed with his family at his side, on February 8th. Michael was a loving Father and Grandfather and enjoyed time with his children and grandchildren.  He was hard working and always there to help someone in need. Michael worked at Lasalle Steel for many years before he retired. Some of his interests include body building and being part of his children's lives. Maria Garcia (July 22, 1942 – January 21, 2026)

Maria Elena Garcia, 83, of Lowell, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, after a long and full life devoted to family and service to others. Maria Elena (née Manzo) was born in East Chicago, Indiana, on July 22, 1942, to Trinidad Manzo and Natividad Partida. She pursued her education with dedication and purpose, attending a private high school in Mexico before returning to Indiana to continue her studies. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Education from Indiana University Northwest and later completed two Master's degrees, one from Purdue

June Nancy Webster, 81, of Crown Point, Indiana passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026. June spent many years working at Purdue University, where she later retired. She took pride in her work and the life she built.
