Terry Alan Hogue, age 54, of Hobart and formerly of Gary, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 in his home. He was born April 14, 1965 in Hammond, Indiana to James W. and Donna (Cunningham) Hogue. Terry was a welder fabricator that retired from American Fabricators with thirty-three faithful years of service. Terry loved watching football and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He loved gardening, fishing, and was a phenomenal cook. Terry loved spending time with his family.
Terry is survived by his loving children, Craig Robert Hogue of Hobart, Nicholas (Christina) Wisler of Portage, Tabitha (Quenten) Nixon of Valparaiso and Nichole (Cory) Whitten of Chesterton; fourteen grandchildren, Arianna, Gavin, Mason and Ava Wisler, Dalton, Hannah and Piper Whitten, Alexia, Bryce, Chloe and Quinn Nixon, Jayden, Lucius and Sophia Hogue; his father, James Hogue of Eljay, GA; one brother, Jim (Staci) Hogue of Hobart; two sisters, Tina M. Harding of Hobart and Cindy (Danny) Feeler of Bremen, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Hogue.
A Memorial Service will be held in Terry’s honor on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 7229 W. 25th Ave., Gary, IN from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
