Carrie Dean Powell, was born Carrie Dean Austin August 15, 1944 in Belzona, Mississippi to Jimmy and Edith Herrod Austin.  She was a citizen of Gary, Indiana and a graduate of Froebel High School Class of 1962.  She retired as a Quality Control Technician from Bivonia Medical Technologies.  Carrie enjoyed music and her family dearly.  She was a queen with a graceful spiritual presence that many loved and adored. She is preceded in death by her parents Jimmy and Edith Austin, husband James Powell, son DeMarco L. McGhee, grandson Jeremiah

Patsy Ann (Dill) Hall February 23, 1946 – June 25, 2022   With broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our Mother, and Heaven’s new fierce angel, Patsy Ann (Dill) Hall. She was born to William Clyde Dill and biological mother, Jessie Mae, in Okolona, Mississippi. Around the age of six, she moved with her Father and brothers to South Bend, Indiana, becoming a lifelong resident.  She grew up on the South Side, raised by her father and Mother, Ruth Maxine Dill.
