Leonidas (Nilda) Garcia Reyes, age 85, of Michigan City, IN passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021. Nilda was born on November 6, 1935 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico to the late Gumercindo and Sousa (Delgado) Garcia. Nilda is survived by her two sons; Hector (Margot) Reyes, and Victor Reyes, five grandsons; Hector (Marie) Reyes, Daniel (Anita) Reyes, Roberto (Julie) Gallardo, Nicklaus (Sarah) Reyes and Agustin (Patricia) Reyes, fifteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother; Gumercindo (Chela) Garcia, as well as a niece, nephews and cousins from both the Garcia and

Edward "Ed" Peterson Jr., 86, of Hobart, formerly of Munster and Hammond, passed away peacefully in his home while surrounded by his loving family. Ed graduated from Marshall High School in Chicago, IL and went on to earn a degree in Industrial Engineering from University of IL- Champaign. She is survived by her daughter; Crystal (Tim) Callaway, Grandchildren; Cassie Callaway and Tim Callaway Jr., Great Grandson; Leo Atkins, sister; Barbara (Jeff) Neeper, niece; Jenny (Doug) Jimison, great nephew; Benjamin Jimison, and great niece; Abigail Jimison, and former husband and friend; Lee (Deann) Swink.
