Lee Eckhart, age 40, of Valparaiso, formerly of Portage, passed away unexpectedly. He is survived by his children: Daniel Pryce Young, Devin Pryce Eckhart and Sophia Elizabeth Eckhart, Parents: Thomas Eckhart and Ivy Bailey, Siblings: Sarah Tracy, Frank Roger Good, and McKenzie Love, Aunts and Uncles: Christine (Phil) Howe, Anna (Rick) Nagy, Robert (Linda) Bailey, Matt Eckhart and Dale Eckhart, Grandparents: Ruth and Fred Eckhart, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jason A. Morris, a master mechanic and lifelong resident of Merrillville, Indiana died unexpectedly on April 4, 2020 at the age of 37. He went to Merrillville High School (class of 2000), graduated from Lincoln Tech, and was formerly employed at Schneider and TA. Jason is preceded in death by his Father: Willie Morris and his Mother: Linda K. Morris. Roberta "Bobbie" Denison April 28, 1946 - March 25, 2020. Bobbie was the youngest daughter of John and Stephina Nalezny who came to America from Europe to start a new life. She is preceded in death by husband David Denison and survived by brothers John Nalezny and Ron (Julie) Nalezny; sons Scott (Regina) Zurawski and Christopher Zurawski, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Timothy Compton, 65, of Hobart, IN passed away on March 23, 2020. He is survived by his sons: Jeremy (Jennifer) Compton, Adam Kyle Compton, and Andrew Damon, Grandchildren: Zackery Compton, Anastasia Compton, in addition to 10 more grandchildren, and Brother: Mike (Kathy) Compton. Preceded in death by his parents: William and Catherine Compton, and his Sister: Connie Compton. Timothy will be remembered as a sports buff, particularly baseball and NASCAR. A family memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

Diana Hardy, age 64, of Hammond, IN, formerly of Hobart, IN, passed away on March 22, 2020. She is survived by her daughter: Jennifer (Michael) Andrews, Brothers: Ronald Vavercan, Thomas Vavercan, Joseph Vavercan, and Scott (Mindy) Vavercan, Grandchildren: Brittany, Sarah and Benjamin, Nieces and Nephews: Ronald Jr., Veronica, Emily, Tyler and Katie. Preceded in death by her parents: Peter and Loretta Vavercan, and her nephew: Peter Vavercan. Diana valued the friendships she made along the way when she was a former bartender. She enjoyed crafting, spending time with her grandkids

Susan Paulette Fries (nee Vlcek), 58, of Michigan City, Indiana died peacefully at her home on March 22, 2020. She was born October 29, 1961 in Cicero, Illinois. She served in the National Guard. Susan is survived by her husband: William Fries, Children: Robby (Katie), Rebekah (James), Richard (Julie), Stepchildren: Mandy (Bobby), Michael, 8 Grandchildren, and her Mother: Delores Delude. She is preceded in death by her Father: Dennis Delude. There will be a private celebration of life in Susan's honor, amongst her close immediate family.
