Gerald W Geiselman Sr. (September 26, 1938 – July 28, 2019)

Our hearts are heavy and we are in mourning over the loss of our beloved Father, Grandfather and friend; Gerald W. Geiselman Sr. Gerald was born in Hammond, Indiana on September 26, 1938. He was the son of Herbert F. and Irene Geiselman. Gerald was an Army veteran and an active member of American Legion Post 168. He is survived by; Daughters, Tina (Chris) Sanders, and Lisa Anderson, Sons; Michael Geiselman, Shawn (Michelle) Geiselman, Grandchildren; Timothy, Jonathon, Adam, Nicole, Asia, Isiah, Samanth and Sky. Paul Silva (February 19, 1973 – July 29, 2019)

Paul Jason Silva, 46, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2019 surrounded by his family at IU Health Methodist in Indianapolis. He was born on February 19, 1973 in Gary, Indiana to Frank and Donna Silva. Paul spent his life doing what he loved and getting paid for it as a professional landscaper and dirt whisperer. He was employed at Hubinger’s Landscaping in Crown Point. The landscaping that he did for his friends and family will always serve as a reminder to us of his big heart and helping hands.

Ronald McCart (April 24, 1957 – July 17, 2019)

Ronald D. (Big Ron) McCart, 62, of Portage, Indiana passed away on July 17, 2019 at home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born April 24, 1957 in Gary, IN to Ray and Pearl (Sloan) McCart. Ron retired from Local 81 Laborers Union with 30+ years of service. Ron had a heart of gold, never met a stranger and loved all animals. Ron is survived by his children; Chrissy (Chad) Wright, Denny McCart, Kara Gonzalez, and Grandchildren; Jasmine, Olivia Wright, Carsen, Oddette McCart and Siblings; William McCart, David (Shay)

Janis Tobias (April 29, 1941 – July 15, 2019)

Janis Tobias, 78, of Whiting, IN, passed away on July 15, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children; Paul (Michelle) Tobias, and Mary Lynn Terwilliger, Grandson Jonathan Terwilliger, and Sister Pam Priskorn and family. Janis was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Florian and Bertha Florian (nee Kish), Husband George Tobias, and Sister Judy Kowal.

James Jacques (January 9, 1933 – July 15, 2019)

James Jacques, 86, of Chicago, IL passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jacques, Children; Kevin (Laura) Jacques, Vanessa (Sean) Smith, and Jason (Olesya) Jacques. James proudly served our country in the Air Force. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Jerry Buckmaster (November 9, 1940 – July 15, 2019)

Jerry Buckmaster, 78, of Dyer, IN passed away on July 15, 2019, surrounded by his family and closest friends, after a courageous 2 year battle with MDS. He is survived by Children; Shannon (Karen) Buckmaster, Steven (Beth) Buckmaster, Melissa (Russ) Johnson, and Anita Buckmaster, Grandchildren; Ava, Chandler, Jordan, Reese and Shelby,  Sister Connie (Hank) Werner, fiancé and longtime companion of 17 years; Penny Kuzmich (children; Jon, Robyn and Heather),  Niece Dr. Kristin (Robert) Werner, Nephews Brian Werner, and Mark Werner, and dear friends Ron Becker, Rick Damron and Scott Guffey.

Larry Hostetler (July 28, 1951 – July 15, 2019)

Larry Hostetler, 67, of Merrillville, IN passed away on July 15, 2019, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Colleen Hostetler, Children; Jeffery (Jennifer) Hostetler, and Jason (Michelle) Hostetler, Grandchildren; Felicia, Amaya, Elyse, Natalie, Chase, Addison, and Eliana, Sister; Kathy Cunningham, Brother; Danny Hostetler, and Stepmom; Carolyn Hostetler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Hostetler and Doris Hostetler-Sellers (Bowers), and Brother Randy Hostetler.
