Patricia Tyson, beloved Daughter, Sister, and Aunt, age 62 of Portage, Indiana passed away on June 27, 2019, with her sister Ann by her side. She is survived by her siblings, James (Holly), Paul (Andrea) Tyson, Jody Tyson-Staten, Jane Tyson-McCracken, Ann (Dave) Dambra-Tyson, and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Preceded in death by parents, James and Patricia Tyson, brother Tommy Tyson, and sister Tammy Pochel-Tyson.

The Great Depression led to the children being placed in a series of foster homes and orphanages just to survive.
