Joseph is survived by his wife; Tina Marie Zabielski-Martinez, loving papa to Sarah, Jade, Cinder and his beloved Chiwienie Sparky, brother; Michael Martinez and half sister; Ester Guerrero. Preceded in death by his parents; Joseph Martinez Sr. and Socorro Martinez. Joseph grew up in South Deering, Chicago and attended St. Francis, Desalles. He would then later retire from South Works steel. He was a true Chicago man. He was a loyal Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan. He loved Elvis. He enjoyed drinking vodka and beer while watching Chicago

Danny J. Sons Sr., a longtime resident of Hobart, Indiana, and most recently of Hebron, Indiana, passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on August 28, 1963, in Gary, Indiana, Danny was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Danny is survived by his loving mother, Norma Sons (Skomp); his children, Joshua Sons (Heather), Brittany Sons, and Chad Valentine; and the mother of his children and the love of his life, Jerilyn Sons.
