Anthony Edwin "Cholak" Skarja, 66, of Portage, Indiana, passed away on December 24, 2025. Born on March 1, 1959, in Gary, Indiana, Anthony was the beloved son of Otto and Yvonne Skarja, both deceased, and the cherished brother of Michael, Joseph and Michelle Skarja. Taylor “Tay” Nicole Adler, 33, passed away on December 23, 2025.  Tay was a beautiful, loving and compassionate soul, who cared deeply for everyone who entered her into the orbit of her life.  She held a unique connection with her son, Francisco “Fran”, with whom she shared a special bond.  Tay loved her family, and was especially close to her mom and brother, Max.
