James William Glaze was born on December 29, 1936 to Edith and William Glaze in Columbus, Ohio. He served as a Combat Blaster Engineer in the United States Army from 1954 to 1958. He recieved the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Occupational Medal. Jim had a passion for building model air planes and was always very dedicated to his family. Jim consistently spoke about how fond he was of the time he spent serving our country in Germany. He passed on October 9th, 2019. He was preceded in death by his daughter in law Jessica Glaze; close friends Ova Nunley-Lott (Jean) and Hank Lott; his son Christopher Glaze. He leaves behind his sons Scott Glaze (Katherine Marshall) , Michael Symoniak, and Steve Symoniak (Sandy Childress) ; daughters Tina Symoniak, Robin Glaze, Kelly Puzines, Tamara Lenier, and Kimberly Rogers (John); his sister Peggy Novak; Brothers Tom Glaze and Rick Glaze; grand children Kaylee, Xander, Seth, Logan, Edward, Adriel, Frankie Jr., Angelee, Stacy, Matthew, Alex, Heather, Christopher, Taylor, shawn, Aaron, Allen, Levi, Richard, Jason and unborn child to Scott and Katherine Glaze; and multiple great grandchildren.
