Michael Lee Bickett, born March 15, 1955, passed away on November 27, 2025 at his home in Lake Station, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Norma Bickett, brothers Martin Dean and James William Bickett, and son Matthew Bickett. He is survived by his son Michael Bickett and daughter Monica Cunningham, both from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, sister Donna Y. (Charles) Jones of Uniontown KY, 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Michael enjoyed life and worked in the black top paving field for many years. Honoring

Cornelio “Tony” Chavez (September 16, 1942 – November 26, 2025)

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of Cornelio S. Chavez's passing on November 26, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. Born on September 16, 1942, in Monte Alto, TX, Cornelio was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He proudly served as a Millwright at Bethlehem/Mital Steel for 38 years before retiring. Robert E. Sills, 71, of Gary, Indiana, died Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his residence. He was born July 1, 1954, in Pekin, Illinois, to Martin C. and Mildred J. (Croney) Sills. Surviving are his sister, Sandra C. Denys of Lowell, Indiana; his brother, Charles B. Sills of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
