Anthony Edwin "Cholak" Skarja, 66, of Portage, Indiana, passed away on December 24, 2025. Born on March 1, 1959, in Gary, Indiana, Anthony was the beloved son of Otto and Yvonne Skarja, both deceased, and the cherished brother of Michael, Joseph and Michelle Skarja. A graduate with an Associate Degree, Anthony built an accomplished career as Head Maître D' at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, where his charm, humor, and quick wit made him unforgettable to guests and colleagues alike.
