Jason Brough, age 37, of Miller Beach, Gary, Indiana passed away in his sleep August 1, 2019 at home. He is survived by his mother Anne Vranic Watts (Dennis Watts), his father, Brian Brough and stepmother Jeanette Wallen Brough, his sister Lin Brough, his maternal grandmother Brenda Vranic, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was a wonderful, kind and intelligent man. He had so many funny quotes, he could fix anything, and he was constantly learning. He listened to his Audible books at 1.5 speed, so he could soak it up that much faster. He was a very gifted gardener and had a huge heart for animals, especially cats. Winning a goldfish at the Porter County fair started a life long tropical fish hobby.
Celebration of Jason’s life will be held at Marquette Park, 1 North Grand Boulevard, Gary, Indiana, on Sunday, August 18th at 3 p.m. Please bring any pictures you may have of Jason. Please be willing if you’re able and up for it, most importantly, to share memories of him. Food to share will be welcome.
