Lewis P. Bates, 62, of Hobart, IN formerly of Burnham, IL passed away on December 30, 2020.
He is survived by his daughter: Keli (Patrick) Bosstel, Grandchildren: Nya Bosstel, and Patrick Bosstel, Great granddaughter: Elena Bosstel, Siblings: Leonard (Linda) Bates, Louann (Chuck) Kocher, Lori Bates and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Lawrence and Louise Bates (nee Peterson), siblings: Larry Bates, Linda Vancouver, Lloyd Bates, Lyle Bates and Lee Bates.
Lewis will be remembered as an avid Chicago Bears and White Sox fan, and he enjoyed going camping.
