Michael Smolik Sr., 69, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. He was a resident of Lowell for 24 years, and formerly from Illinois.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 43 years; Cathrine Smolik, his beloved children; Dodi (Dennis) Wians, Elizabeth Jablonski, Michael (Melody) Smolik Jr., and his adored grandchildren; Derek, Tyler, Brooke, Maddison, Trevor, Morgan, Mia and Mason.
Michael proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp, where he was trained to do underwater demolition in Vietnam. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, parent and Grandfather. He had a great sense of humor, and sure loved Dunkin Donuts. Michael’s warmheartedness will be greatly missed by those near and dear to him.
