John Paul Mlechick III, 75, passed away surrounded by his family on June 19, 2021.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years; Laura Mlechick (nee Henson), his children; John Mlechick IIII, Laura (Mike) Mattel, and James Mlechick, Grandchildren; Lauren Bottando and Katelyn Bottando, Siblings; David (Mary) Mlechick and Mary Tischbein, and many nieces and nephews.
John Paul was preceded in death by his parents; John Paul Jr. and Donna Jean Mlechick (nee Wallace), his sisters; Rebecca Mlechick and Adrian Mlechick, and brother-in-law John Tischbein.
John Paul was a proud retired switchman for EJE Railroad. He was a previous member of St. Monica and St. Luke church of Gary, IN, a previous member of Blessed Sacrament of Calumet Township, IN and a current member of Assumption Parrish of New Chicago, IN.
