Danny Ray Alexander, age 56, of Lake Station, IN passed away peacefully at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hobart, IN on Friday, February 4, 2022, where he was a resident for 7 1/2 years, due to long-term complications from an off-road dirt bike accident.
Danny loved life and went about it carefree and happy. He took every opportunity to spend time with his many friends and lived life to the fullest. He always enjoyed being around any kind of car or motor bike. He especially loved vintage cars. He belonged to the Laborers Union #6.
Danny was born to James A. and Nina Jo Alexander in Gary, IN on July 27, 1965.
Surviving are his Father; James A. Alexander of Lake Station, IN, Siblings; Steve (Sandy) Alexander of Lake Station, IN, Tawana Goodson of Lake Station, IN, Rhonda (Kevin) Burton of Kankakee, IL, Nieces and Nephews; Stephen Alexander, Amber (Robert) Joy, Amanda Alexander, Kayleigh (Joe) Malloy, Kristen (Adam) Reiniche, Patrick Goodson, and Derick Goodson, 10 Great Nieces and Nephews, one special Cousin; Renee (Ed) Sable, and many Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
Preceding him in death is his Mother; Nina Jo Alexander, nee Johnson.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no public service, per Danny’s wishes. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
