Larry Earl Poe, 65, of Gary, IN passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
He is survived by his children, Jesse (Mindi) Poe; Jennifer Moore and Larry Henry; grandchildren, Jesse Poe Jr.; Austin Poe; Justine Poe; Jacob Catlin; Kaitlyn Moore, and siblings, Richard (Felicia) Poe and Jerry Poe.
Larry was an avid fisherman and hunter, often taking his beagles with him while rabbit hunting. He also enjoyed the freedom of the open road, while riding his Harley. Larry and his son Jesse were the best of friends. Wherever one was, you could likely find the other.
Most of all, Larry had a genuine heart of gold. He was never afraid to stand up for the little man, or protect children. He wouldn’t think twice about helping others when they needed it most.
