Katili Katiligone (December 31, 1938 – April 17, 2020)

Katili Katiligone, “KK” (for those who couldn’t pronounce his name) 81 of Highland, IN, passed away on April 17, 2020.  He was born in Harrisburg, PA, and later relocated to Chicago, IL.  He is survived by his sister Carolyn of Virginia, his son; Bruce (Doria), daughters; Jan (Jess)  and Donna, grandchildren; Latanya  (Malik), Bruce III (Tiffany), Kyrii , Chalece (Joshua), great-grandchildren; Reginald, Asharei, Davionne, London, Kyron and My’Kai.

 He was a proud veteran and served in the United States Air Force where he received an honorable discharge.   He loved talking about his time in the military to anyone who would listen. He retired as a Healthcare Worker for a long term facility in St Louis, MO.  He was a very complex, intelligent, and funny individual.  He loved his sports; all sports, especially baseball and his favorite team was the Chicago Cubs.

Katili was preceded in death by his mother Edwina and father Gayle and brother.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and cherished him.

The family would like to thank the Munster Med-Inn Doctors, Nurses and Support Staff for all of the excellent care they provided to our beloved “KK”.
