Don Richison, 68, of Laporte, IN formerly of Hoagland, IN passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021. He is survived by his children: Rachel, Joshua and Steven, 4 Grandchildren, Siblings: Brenda, Larry, Rusty and Dave, and 12 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents: James and Eris Richison (nee Fisher). Don graduated from Heritage High School in Monroeville, IN, and served our country in the United States Air Force.
Bonnie Jean Mills passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 7, 2021. She was born April 22, 1943 to James & Lenore Hill in Gary, Indiana. After graduating from River Forest in 1961, she worked for Anderson Co. as a bower for twenty-seven years, and later worked for Strack & Van Til for twenty-two years. She was an avid camper who had many friends, and always a story to tell. On Tuesday, February 9th, 2021, Randy Joe Owens passed away peacefully at Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, Indiana. Randy was born on August 6th, 1962 in Huntsville, Alabama to Dorothy Jean Owens. He grew up in Chicago and joined the Army at age 18. He had a number of wonderful careers in steel mills, physical therapy, trucking, and management settings. Anita Nicely (nee Kohlmeier), age 92, of Wheatfield, IN, formerly of Calumet City, IL passed away surrounded by family and friends on February 7, 2021. After a difficult battle with Alzheimer's disease, she was ready to go home to the husband she loved dearly and lost too soon. She lived in anticipation of the day she would once again get to reunite with her passed loved ones.
