Bill Hale (October 29, 1950 – February 25, 2020)

Bill Hale, 69, of Hobart, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Diana Hale, and Daughter: Amy Hale (Allen Skrandell). Preceded in death by his niece: Danielle Preuss. Bill loved dogs, NASCAR, cooking, and the Chicago Cubs. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband and father.

Joyce Ann Dooley (nee Spence) (01 Nov 1944 – 17 Feb 2020)

Joyce Ann Dooley (nee Spence) of Valparaiso, IN age 75, passed away in Portage, IN on 17 Feb 2020 peacefully, with her family by her side. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Joyce was born 01 Nov 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert Glenn Spence and Dorothy Elizabeth Spence (nee Coffman), both who preceded her in death. Her husband, James D. Joe Moore (May 31, 1976 – February 15, 2020)

Joe Moore, 43, of Shelby, passed away suddenly of a heart condition on February 15, 2020. He is survived by his parents: Bob and Lorraine Moore, Daughter: Ariahna Moore, Sisters: Kathy (Albert) Kopp, and Kim (Jerry) Dedic, Cousin: Chester Hylton, and numerous others in Virginia, Niece: Brandi Dedic, Nephews: Anthony Ward and DJ Kopp, and best friend: Bob Lee. Preceded in death by his brother: Jimmy Moore, Grandfather: William Moore Sr., and many other beloved family members and friends. Joe thoroughly enjoyed fishing, construction, and was a very talented carpenter;

Florence Conn (January 16, 1948 – February 16, 2020)

Florence Marie Conn, age 72 passed away on Sunday, February 16th 2020 at Munster Med Inn where she resided since November 2019.  Florence was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 16th, 1948 to Betty Lou Conn-Stamper and James Franklin Conn (both preceded in death).  Florence’s last job was at Chicago State University where she worked as a Clerk until 2008.  Florence is survived by her two remaining siblings Jim (Bessie) and Pat (Joann and Bobbie Jean preceded in death), two daughters Marie (Karen) and Angela (Don), her grandchildren Joshua, Lorin

Dennis Lee Hartman (September 24, 1943 – February 8, 2020)

Dennis Lee Hartman, age 76, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at his residence. "Lee" was born in Gary, Indiana on September 24, 1943 to Berle "Bill" and Virginia Louise (Haley) Hartman.  Lee retired from Republic Frame and Axle in Gary, Indiana after many years as a tow truck driver. Survived by children: Lori (Brian) Jackson, Brenda Hartman, Bill (Jenny) Hartman, and Pamela Hartman, Sisters: Beverly (George) Sharp, Nancy Hartman, and Peggy Hospers, Brothers: Kenneth (Leeann) Hartman, Rick Hartman, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Frederique Klooster (January 9, 1935 – January 20, 2020)

Frederique Klooster passed away on January 20th, 2020 after an adventurous life. He was born in the Netherlands on January 9,1935 and grew up during WWII. In 1951 his parents Berend Klooster and Grietje Bouman, immigrated with their 5 children aboard the M.S. Noordam via New York, to California. Fred served proudly in the United States Army and received his U.S. citizenship in Seoul, Korea. John L. Ramuscak, 85, of Demotte, IN, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Ramuscak. Survived by his loving wife: Ruth Ann Ramuscak, Children: Andy Ramuscak, and Diane (Mark) Baule, Grandchildren: Erin and Blake, Sisters: Mary and Annie, and Brother Rudy. John served his country in the US Army, retired from the Lake County Sheriff's Dept., and was a member of the FOP Chris Anton Lodge #125. A private family service will be held at a later date.
