Richard Ropar (September 9, 1944 – January 19, 2023)

Richard Ropar, 78, passed away January 19, 2023 at Aperion Care, Michigan City. He was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to Wanda (Worek) Ropar and Matthew Joseph Ropar and served in the U.S. Navy in San Diego, California during the Vietnam War. After moving back to Indiana, he worked at Midwest Steel for 39 years, where he later retired. Richard played several sports, enjoying golf and his annual trips with his friends the most.
