He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kim Proft, Children; Son; James (Heather) Proft, Grandchildren; Nathaniel, Brady, and Austin, Mother; Gerry Proft, Siblings; Berry Proft, Holly (Dave) Araki, Lynn (Bryan) Cox, Alison (Fred) Morgan, and friends who were like brothers to him; Steven (Sue) Kovachevich, and Mickey (Rena) Wright. Max “Bup” G. Gill Jr. (December 14, 1960 – November 29, 2019)

Max “Bup” G. Gill, Jr. A much-loved husband, father, son and brother, Max Gene Gill, Jr., 58, of Portage, Indiana passed away peacefully on November 29, 2019. He had bravely confronted Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He was born December 14, 1960 in Gary, Indiana, and resided in Portage, Indiana for the past 13 years. He graduated from Merrillville High School in 1979 and went on to play football at Northern Illinois University, recently being honored as one of the top 50 Huskie football players

Edith Kadisak-Osburn (November 14, 1929 – November 23, 2019)

Edith Kadisak-Osburn, 90, of Crown Point, IN passed away on November 23, 2019. She is survived by her Children; Roger (Celeste) Kadisak, Rella (Felix) Harvey, Russell (Lisa) Kadisak, Randy (Lyn) Kadisak, Rita Landers, and Ray (Terri) Kadisak, numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and Siblings; Robert Rose and Nolan Rose. Edith pursued her Doctorate degree, to become a college professor and social worker, and thoroughly enjoyed her profession. A private family gathering will be held at a future date.
