Serena 'Katie Bug' Chenault, 76, of Hammond, IN passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2024. Survived by her children Charles (Becky) Chenault; Charlene Chenault and Tina (Wayne) Weaver, grandchildren, Britany; Darlene; Charles; Mitchell; Tiffany; Stephanie; Nikki and Timmy, great grandson, Brendan, and siblings, Lisa Lehmann and Lydia (Jeff Geary) Brock. Preceded in death by her mother, Alice Brock. Serena will always be remembered as kind and loving towards children. She would have given the shirt off of her back to anyone in need, and genuinely had a good heart.
