Larry Earl Poe, 65, of Gary, IN passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He is survived by his children, Jesse (Mindi) Poe; Jennifer Moore and Larry Henry; grandchildren, Jesse Poe Jr.; Austin Poe; Justine Poe; Jacob Catlin; Kaitlyn Moore, and siblings, Richard (Felicia) Poe and Jerry Poe. Larry was an avid fisherman and hunter, often taking his beagles with him while rabbit hunting. He also enjoyed the freedom of the open road, while riding his Harley. Stephen Raymond was beloved by family and friends. He was a shining light in life; he was always willing to help out someone in need. He spoiled his grandchildren, they were always excited to spend time with him. He loved his cats and devoted his life to taking care of family. He will be dearly missed by all.

Carlos E. Cruz, 79, of Hobart, IN formerly of East Chicago, IN passed away May 1st, 2024. He was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Carlos is survived by his wife, Migdalia, of 52 years, as well as 4 daughters: Angelica, Alicia, Maritza, and Rosa Maria. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren; Maria Isabel "Isa", Jose "Papo", Ramiro "Lil Ram", Manuel "Tony", Alyssa, Marisol, Brianna, Savio, Jessica, Migdalia "Dalia", George, Alexia, Marius, Michael, David & Christina, including 14 more great grandchildren. Joseph "Joey" Chase, 55, of Crown Point, IN formerly of Portage, IN, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Randall and Adelle Chase (formerly McClure) and brothers, Virgil Chase and Danny Chase.  Joey is survived by his children, Amanda Collingsworth; Amber Seibert; Timothy Chase; Kylee Baugh and Tyr Chase, sister, Lisa Puentez, and grandchildren, Xadrian; Melody; Amelia; Leander; Eugene; Lynae; Lucas; Kayden and Liam.
