Michael Patrick Cook, age 70, of Calumet City, Illinois, passed away on October 23, 2024.
He is survived by his two children; Michael John Cook (Leakhena) and Heather Nicole Miller (David), four siblings; Thomas Cook, Richard Cook (April), Geri Radkay and Liz Piskula (AJ), as well as 19 nieces and nephews, and 17 Great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents; Earl J. Cook and Julia E. Cook (nee Ploppa), and four siblings; Sonny Cook, Judith Demkowicz, Chuck Cook and Joseph Cook.
Michael’s gentle nature and zest for life showed. He lived each day like it was his last. He never rushed through moments that brought him happiness. Michael had a huge love for the Rolling Stones. He would break out in dance like nobody was watching. Every chance he had he would go to the lake and swim or just relax. It was his happy place. He also loved spending time with his loyal companion Cookie, his beloved dog.
Michael was a calm and gentle spirit and would do anything for anyone in need.
