Matthew (Matt) McDermott, 50, passed away on February 6, 2024 in Lake Station, Indiana surrounded by family.  He was born on December 13, 1973 in Hobart, Indiana to Mickey and Gloria. Matt is survived by his wife, Elaine McDermott, mother, Gloria Shukitis, grandmother, Hilda Getrich, sisters Jennifer (Matt) Sessoms and Tina (Alex) Powell, son Tristan Horn and daughter, Sarah Horn, grandchildren, Jaelyn and Keegan, nephews, Dylan, Carter and Parker, nieces, Lorelei and Paige, faithful dogs, Julie and Jerry.  He is preceded in death by his father, Mickey McDermott, grandfather, Leonard

Anthony Maxberry (October 24, 1982 – January 22, 2024)

Anthony (Tony) Joseph Maxberry, 41, passed away on January 22, 2024, in Valparaiso, Indiana. He was born on October 24, 1982 in Hammond, Indiana to Mark and Catherine (Conley) Maxberry. Anthony is survived by his mother Catherine, his three siblings: Nicholas Maxberry, Marissa Maxberry (Tim Monik), and his youngest sister Kimberly Fech. He is also survived by his four remarkable children, Gage (19), Samara (18), Addison (15) & Lincoln (7) Maxberry. Tony also had 3 nephews that loved him despite all. Anton Malmquist Jr (February 13, 1940 – January 23, 2024)

In the late hours of January 23rd, 2024, Tony exhaled for the last time here, surrounded by his family and took his next oxygen free inhale of breath in heaven. Tony was born February 13th, 1940 to Anton and Thelma (Burris) Malmquist Sr. A day early Valentine's Day gift for his parents, he was the first born son of the couple. He was one of six children and was often called "Tony boy" by his siblings growing up. He was born and raised his whole life in Hobart and graduated

Ralph Myrick (February 21, 1936 – January 23, 2024)

Ralph Myrick, 87, of Valparaiso, IN passed away with his loving wife and family by his side. Preceded in death by his parents; Ralph Myrick II and Velma Myrick and brother; Thomas Myrick. Ralph is survived by his wife of 37 years; Leoncia Myrick, children; Kevin Myrick, Kyle Myrick, Stephanie (Danny) Gardners and Heather Myrick, grandson; Ethan Gardners, and sister; Marilyn Watson.
