Larry Eugene Boger,83, resident of Hobart, Indiana passed away peacefully in Hobart on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. He was born on January 22, 1941 in Gary, Indiana to Elden and Lillian Boger. Larry is survived by his wife Cynthia Boger of Hobart, Indiana, his two daughters Jaci (Dan) Kreisel of Glenview, Illinois, and Lori Boger Justak of Hobart, Indiana, brother James (Susan) Boger of Covington, Indiana, two nieces, five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was raised in Hammond (Hessville) and remained til he moved to Crown Point in 1999. Thomas retired after 42 dedicated years, through Local 1011 as a Millwright at Youngstown/J&L/LTV. She will be forever loved and forever remembered as a wife, mother and friend. After getting caught smoking one too many times at St. Bonaventure, he graduated from Bishop Noll High School, then spent four years touring the world for the US Navy as a radarman on a destroyer.
