Genevieve M. Schorle nee Fernandez of Dyer, IN passed away on November 25th 2023 at the age of 72. Genevieve was born March 29th 1951 in Chicago, IL. Genevieve is survived by her two sons; Eric (Sicily) Schorle and Paul (Sara) Schorle. Three grandsons, Noah, Aiden and Cole. Five siblings; Maryann (Robert) Selent, Sandra, George, Mike and Ruben Fernandez. Three nieces, Gina Selent, Samantha and Kate Regnier. Two nephews Christian (Holly) and Cameron (Haley) Selent. Claude Marvin Abbott September 14, 1963-October 28, 2023, Merrillville, IN Claude Marvin Abbott, 60, of Merrillville, died on October 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on September 14, 1963, in Dayton, OH, to Larry Abbott, Sr and the late Darlene Black, and sister, Brenda Banks. On August 22, 2008, in Rensselaer he married the love of his life, Shari Simko.  They had been married for 15 years.
