Karl R. Carlson July 19, 1954 - April 7, 2023 68 years old Karl is survived by his wife of 40 years Charlene R. "Char" (nee Tominov) Carlson, Son Kevin R. Carlson, Brother Glen (late Lois) Carlson, Sisters Roxane VanTil, Dawn (Cliff) Haring, Bonnie (Jim) Bruce, many nephews, nieces, cousins and Aunt Joan Summers. Preceded in death by his parents Bob Ray and Melva-Jean M. (nee Purkey) Carlson. Karl was a graduate of Hammond Tech High School. Late of Wheatfield, IN formerly of Lansing, IL and Hammond, IN. Jeffrey Lee Sable, 59, of La Porte, IN formerly of Portage, IN passed away after a long illness on Monday, April 3, 2023. He was at peace, surrounded by his loving family. Survived by his Wife of 37 years; Christie Sable (nee Dallas), his Children; Amanda (Luke) Shaw, and Jennifer Sable, Grandchildren; Aubree, Gavin, Ainslee and Lynlee, his Mother; Jean Pass, Mother in law; Linda La Londe, one sister, one stepsister and numerous other family members. Carl Sitzenstock (July 31, 1943 – April 2, 2023)

Carl A. Sitzenstock, 79, of Hobart Indiana, peacefully passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023. He is survived by his three children: Carla (Tom) Kappel, Christine (Scott) Raneses, and Michael (Cheri) Sitzenstock; four grandchildren: Tyler, Kendall, Nathan, and Aydan; one sister: Lydia (Elmer) Rowland of Lake Station and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Dorothy Sitzenstock; siblings: Raymond Sitzenstock, Jr., Robert Sitzenstock, and Nancy Long; and nephew Eric Rowland. Carl retired in 2003 from U.S. Steel. He was a lifetime resident of Northwest Indiana. Services
