Jeffrey Lee Sable, 59, of La Porte, IN formerly of Portage, IN passed away after a long illness on Monday, April 3, 2023. He was at peace, surrounded by his loving family. Carl Sitzenstock (July 31, 1943 – April 2, 2023)
Carl A. Sitzenstock, 79, of Hobart Indiana, peacefully passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023. He is survived by his three children: Carla (Tom) Kappel, Christine (Scott) Raneses, and Michael (Cheri) Sitzenstock; four grandchildren: Tyler, Kendall, Nathan, and Aydan; one sister: Lydia (Elmer) Rowland of Lake Station and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Dorothy Sitzenstock; siblings: Raymond Sitzenstock, Jr., Robert Sitzenstock, and Nancy Long; and nephew Eric Rowland. Carl retired in 2003 from U.S. Steel. He was a lifetime resident of Northwest Indiana. Services
