David J. Taylor (September 18, 1946 – January 22, 2025)

David J. Taylor, 78, of Hobart, IN passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. He is survived by his son; Matthew (Donna) Taylor, brother; Ben (Ellen) Taylor, nephews; Mike and John, and nieces; Kathy and Sarah, as well as former spouse; Vivian Bossinger. Preceded in death by his parents; William  and Martha Taylor. David is a Vietnam veteran who diligently served his nation in the United States Marine Corp. Patrick McDonald (March 17, 1953 – January 16, 2025)

Patrick "Pat" Allen McDonald passed away peacefully in his home on January 16th, 2025 at 71 years old. He was proudly born and raised in Crown Point, only leaving the area for a short stint. He loved anything meticulous such as building models -even ships inside bottles, rebuilding old trucks, soaking up historical knowledge, and riding his Harley Davidson. Pat held many jobs in his lifetime including a semi-driver, horse tender and lastly a Foreman for Davey Tree as an arborist, climbing and trimming many areas of Crown Point. He

Mildred (Millie) Lenore Padilla 11/14/1930 to 1/14/2025 Age 94, passed away on January 14, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family after a many-years journey with Alzheimer’s disease. Mildred was born in Canton, Illinois on November 14, 1930, to Guy and Lillian Williams of Chicago, Illinois.   Millie was the second youngest of 13 siblings who preceded her in death.
