Ronald “Smitty” David Smith, 72, of LaPorte, IN passed away January 31, 2022. He is survived by his daughter Shelley(Todd) Childress, 2 grandsons Nathan & Nickolas Childress, one sister Vicki(Curt) Schultz, 2 nieces Kelly(Sam)Benn & Stacey McClain and a great nephew Tyler Benn, all of LaPorte IN, and many wonderful lifelong friends. Phylis Kay Jerman, (nee Denton), 75, of St. John, IN, formerly of Bethalto, IL, passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2022.
