Danny Ray Alexander, age 56, of Lake Station, IN passed away peacefully at Miller's Merry Manor in Hobart, IN on Friday, February 4, 2022, where he was a resident for 7 1/2 years, due to long-term complications from an off-road dirt bike accident. Danny loved life and went about it carefree and happy. He took every opportunity to spend time with his many friends and lived life to the fullest. Linda Brunker, 52, of Hobart Indiana, passed away after a long battle on 01/31/2022 at St. Mary’s medical center. She is predeceased by her husband, Theodore (Ted) Brunker, her mother Eunice Jennings, her sister Vonetta York, and niece Amber York. Linda is survived by her daughters, Tosha White and Holly Brunker, Fiancé Philip (Phil) Barragan, step-children Josh Barragan Zach Barragan and Madison Barragan, grandson Liam Brunker, brother Douglas York, and multiple adoptive kids/grandkids. Rosemary L. Shanda, age 97, of Crown Point, formerly of Hammond, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Lucille Shanda, and her brother, Ben Shanda. She is survived by her nephew, Paul Shanda. To honor Rosemary's wishes, she was cremated and there will be no services to occur.
