In recent years Sylvia resided with her daughter Kathryn Angela Thompson and her partner Linda Kowalski in Valparaiso, Indiana, where she adored watching the deer and other wildlife of her adopted home. George Nelson Jr., 76, of Demotte, IN passed away on September 1, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 45 years; Deborah Nelson, Son; Steven Nelson, Daughter; Lisa (Kevin) Mergins, and Grandchildren; Robbie, Darcy and Patrick.

Carla Jeanne Steitz Wozniak Zink, 61, passed away on Thursday evening, August 27th in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Glenwood, IL on March 24th, 1959 and graduate from Homewood-Flossmoor in 1977. Carla's life touched many and memories of her will continue to live with all who have known her. She also enjoyed photography, music and was passionate about political issues.

Sharon Briones, 73, of Chicago, IL passed away on August 25, 2020. She is survived by her son;  James (Judy) Funicello, granddaughter; Jamie Funicello, brother; Leslie (Jan) Sauer Jr., niece; Annie (John) Dorzok, and nephew; David (Shelly) Petruska. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; Leslie and Louise Suaer, and her sister; Judith Petruska.
