Don Matyasik, 61, of Lansing, IL passed away on December 31, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years: Mary Matyasik (nee Reynders), Children: Michelle (Don) Karnoski, Melinda (Jim) Nelson, Becky (Gareth) Troake, Grandchildren: Sean Sullivan, Scott Sullivan and Samantha Sullivan, Sister: Jo Ann Schuster, nieces and nephews: Jenny Schuster, Lynne (Nick) Hradek, Kevin Schuster, Michael (Samantha) Matyasik, and Debbie (Michael) Murphy.
Preceded in death by his parents: John Matyasik and Frances Davane, and his brother: John Matyasik.
Don was a loving husband and amazing father/stepfather. He loved his coffee and the Chicago Cubs. He was a hard worker and a great mechanic; able to fix nearly anything that came his way, Don was a “man with a plan.”
He enjoyed fishing, and he raised fish at home; a family of fish that never seemed to stop growing. He also loved going for long walks in the woods and gardening.
Don will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched.
