Don Melcher, 48, of St. John, IN, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
He is survived by his loving Mother; Delephine Hulen (Stepfather Ron), Brothers; Jason Melcher, and Jay Wexler, Niece; Nicole Melcher, and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Preceded in death by his Brother; Joey Mills.
Don will be remembered and greatly missed by his family and close friends. His hobbies included selling unique things on Ebay, and recently experimenting with making his very own moonshine and wines; flavors unique as blueberry and even dandelion wine.
Don was also a proud member of Laborers’ Local 41 and worked for Doffin Construction.
A Memorial Visitation for Don will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 10:30 am until time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 am, at St. John the Evangelist Church 11301 W 93rd Ave St. John, IN 46373. Inurnment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN.
A Celebration of Life in Don’s honor will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hunley’s Bar & Grill; 13115 NW Lake Shore Dr, Cedar Lake, IN 46303.
