Eugene Lovely, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith. Though his time on this earth was shorter than we wished, his impact will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Eugene was the cherished son of the late Judy Tunis and Clayton Lovely. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Kay Baker, and is survived by his loving siblings: Dawn (Missy) Wireman, Darren Scott Lovely, Susan Quick, Ryan Lovely, Cody Lovely, and Jeffrey Lovely.
He was the proud father of four children: his biological children, Jason and Mindy Lovely, and his adopted sons, Robbie and Conner Lovely. Eugene was the grandfather to Johnathan, Tristen, KimberLynn, Josiah Lovely, and Brendan Grindstaff. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Raised in the Lutheran faith, Eugene gave his heart to the Lord at a young age. Later in life, during his time at Parkview Haven, he recommitted himself to his faith and formed a deep bond with the minister there, who was lovingly by his side on the day he passed.
Eugene was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and the way he could light up a room with his laughter. He loved to fish and found joy in making others smile. As a father and loyal friend, Eugene would go out of his way to help anyone in need.
Though we grieve his loss, we take comfort in knowing that Eugene is now home with the Lord. His life reminds us that no matter our mistakes, it is never too late to seek forgiveness and peace. His memory will forever live on in the lives he touched.
