James A. Ash, 76, of La Porte, IN passed away peacefully at home with family by his side, on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
He is survived by his children, James Ash Jr. and Michelle (Samuel) Schmid, grandchildren, Tyler Ash; Jacob (Gabbie) Merton; Gregorio Ash and Samson Ash, great grandchildren, Aubree Merton; Winter Merton; Madison Merton; Kennedy Merton; and a sister, Charlotte Middleton.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Vernal and Maxine Ash (maiden Robinson), and siblings, George Ash; Vernal “Butch” Ash; Phyllis Ash-Stephens, and Marilyn Ash-Wolford.
