Laurence Tachik Sr.,62 of portage, IN. passed away on 4-3-21.
Larry is survived by his children;Jennifer (Tony) Cavazos, Larry (Krystal) Tachik Jr. and his grandchildren; Lily, Lincoln, Lylah and Lillian.
His brothers Jerome (Susan) Jr.,Gary and sister Shari Clifford. As well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jerome Sr. and Jackie. His brother Terrence and grandson Luciano.
Larry worked in construction and roofing. He was also in the army reserves. Larry loved the outdoors and was also an avid Cubs and Bears fan. He loved to sit outside with an ice cold beer while listening to the Cubs game on the radio. Larry will be missed by many!
Memorial service will be held at the VFW post 7760; 2803 Monnier St. Portage, IN 46368, on April 17th at 3pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the VFW.
