Lydia Rotz, 66 of Wheatfield, IN passed away February 23, 2024, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born in Whiting Indiana, a graduate of St. Adalbert School and Whiting High School. She was a former employee of St. Margaret Mercy Hospital, Hammond, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Rotz, parents Ray and Marlene Gajewski, and her brother Matthew Gajewski.
Lydia was a devoted mother to her daughter, Roxanne (Joseph Gorke) Mancilla, a cherished grandmother to Adrianna Dukes, Xavier and Johnny Mancilla, and a beloved sister and aunt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Family and friends are encouraged to reach out to her daughter to share condolences and for information about the future service. roxannemancilla32@gmail.com.
