Phylis Kay Jerman, (nee Denton), 75, of St. John, IN, formerly of Bethalto, IL, passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2022.
Phylis was born in Cairo, IL on January 30, 1946 to Chester and Mamie Denton, who precede her in death. Also preceding her in death is her husband Glen R. Jerman, her daughter Chantel N. Jerman and a brother, Roy Denton.
Phylis is survived by her children Tamara (Spiro) Poulos, Angela Davis, Eric (Davi) Jerman and Sean Jerman and her grandchildren Mitchell, Nicholas, Caley, Drew, Erica, Mya, D’Andre, Triston and Ciara and her great grandchildren Jalen and Emma Rose. Phylis is also survived by her three brothers Marvin, Ronnie and Dave Denton and numerous nieces and nephews.
At a later date, her ashes will be laid to rest next to her daughter at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bethalto, IL.
