Ralph Allan Speelman, 60 years old, of North Judson, Indiana passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020 at his home after a long battle with cancer. Ralph is survived by his children – Jeremy (April Yankovich) Speelman of Griffith, Indiana, James (Shannon Trusty) Speelman of North Judson, Indiana, Misty (Matt) Mitch of Portage, Michigan, and Jacob Wingerter of North Judson, Indiana. He is also survived by his brother, Mickey Schneider and eight grandchildren – Hanah, Jeremy Jr., Chloe, Parker, Devin, Kayla, Ezra and Ava.
Ralph was preceded in death by his loving parents LaVerne and Merlin Schneider, and his sister Felicia.
Ralph was born on July 7, 1959 in Hammond, Indiana. Ralph was an avid fisherman and sports fanatic. He enjoyed coaching his children in softball and baseball and watching the Chicago Cubs and Bears.
At his request, Ralph will be cremated, and a small family gathering will be held at a later date to honor his life and legacy. The family is asking for privacy as they grieve and heal together.
