Richard was a kind and giving soul. He would give the shirt off of his back, if it could better help someone else in need. Richard was a very loving husband to his cherished wife, Kyla. His children and grandchildren were his everything, and he would drop whatever he was doing to be there for them, no matter what. That’s just the kind of dependable man Richard was for the people he loved most. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He then worked for many years at James Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Cedar Lake, Indiana and the aforementioned businesses onsite. He enjoyed what he did, and had a work ethic so great that it was hard getting him to leave the job at times. Richard will be remembered best for never going anywhere without his fishing pole, seizing any opportunity to reel in a great catch.
