Betty A. Sumler (Sons) of Hobart, IN passed away August 17, 2022. Betty was born on October 25, 1960 in Gary, IN.
Betty is survived by her mother, Norma Sons (Skomp) children, Amy (William) Hunt, Craig Sumler, Justin Sumler, grandchildren Seth, Corey, Lanaya, Jordan, Kilee and Bennett, brothers Tommy Sons, Danny Sons, and sisters Peggy(George) Glotzbach, Diane (John) Evanovich, Linda (Eric) Nahod along with several nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Felicia Sons “Sis”, father Hurshel Sons, brothers Johnnie Sons, Kirk Sons, David Sons and Ronnie Sons.
Betty loved her feline companion, Zuma. She was an avid Yahtzee player, enjoyed watching her tv shows, singing and listening to music. She very much enjoyed her Dairy Queen Ice cream cones, but most of all, Betty loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Per Betty’s wishes, no services will be taking place.
