Laurence Tachik Sr. (May 4, 1958 – April 3, 2021)
Laurence Tachik Sr.,62 of portage, IN. passed away on 4-3-21. Larry is survived by his children;Jennifer (Tony) Cavazos, Larry (Krystal) Tachik Jr. and his grandchildren; Lily, Lincoln, Lylah and Lillian. His brothers Jerome (Susan) Jr.,Gary and sister Shari Clifford. As well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Jerome Sr. and Jackie. His brother Terrence and grandson Luciano. Larry worked in construction and roofing. He was also in the army reserves. Larry loved the outdoors and was also an avid Cubs and Bears fan.
Jody Lee Bane-Mustafa (December 28, 1978 – March 28, 2021)
Jody Lee Bane-Mustafa, 42, of Portage, IN passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband of 1 1/2 years; Michael Mustafa. The inseperable pair had been together for 7 years, and wed on October 19, 2019. Jody is also survived by her father: Terry Bane, mother: Jean (Bob) Baptiste, sister: Shannon (Jeremy) Wauchek, the nieces who she adored: Mercedes Garcia, Alexandra Flores, and Mariah Flores, and her beloved cats and dogs who had a special place in her heart.
