Charles Earnest (Chuck) McDowell, a resident of Gary, IN departed this life at Methodist Hospital-Southlake on December 14, 2020 at 88 years old. Charles was born July 12, 1932 in Camden, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Annie Mae McDowell, brother, Thomas (Frances) and sister, Lillie McDowell. Daniel Williams...known by all as Dave....was a much loved, well respected Postmaster of Crown Point for many years. He retired to a life of hiking, biking and camping and enjoyed every minute.
