Susan G. Brimmer, 66, passed away at her home, after a battle with cancer on October 27, 2024. She is survived by her husband; Clarence "Joe", two bonus daughters; Jeannie W. and Kathleen B. and four grandchildren; Rose, Mikey, David and Thorn James. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 9th with family and friends.

Vernon Smith, age 95, of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota died on Saturday October 12, 2024 at St. Mary Medical Center, Hobart, Indiana in the company of his children. Vernon J. Smith was born April 19, 1929 in Aneta, North Dakota, the eldest of two sons of Walter and Helga (Olson) Smith. He was a member of Cormorant Lutheran Church of Lake Park, Minnesota and attended Our Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas in the winter months.
