Ronald K. McClanahan (November 14, 1972 – May 18, 2024)

Ronald K. McClanahan of Cedar Lake, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024. He is survived by his daughters, Alexandria McClanahan and Alyssa McClanahan, grandchildren, Gaige; Emmersyn; Charlotte; Violet; Cashton and Easton, sisters, Kelly McClanahan and Rene McClanahan, niece Kennedy, nephew, Tony, and great nieces, Finnley and Zariah. Preceded in death by his parents; Morris McClanahan and Joan Manifold-Ellis, niece Mandi Johnson and nephew Justin Johnson. Ronald will be remembered as one of those faithful Chicago Bears fans that we here in 'the region' know very well -  true

Jeffrey R. DeLay (February 12, 1955 – May 17, 2024)

Jeffrey R. DeLay (69), of Brook, Indiana passed away unexpectedly, on May 17, 2024. He was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on February 12, 1955. Jeff is a graduate of South Newton High School, class of 1973. He also attended Purdue University. Jeff was an extremely talented gardener. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing (especially ice fishing), and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed helping others when he could, even after death. His organs were donated through the Indiana Donor Network. Jeff most enjoyed spending time with his only child. They raised livestock

Richard L. Hoekstra (May 5, 1958 – May 12, 2024)

Richard L. Hoekstra, 66, of Highland, IN passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cindi Hoekstra, children, Richard (Liz) Hoekstra; Bradley (Ashleigh) Hoekstra, and Kathryn Hoekstra, grandchildren, Brooklyn Hoekstra; Bailey Hoekstra; Carter Nash and Charlotte Hoekstra. A private Celebration of Life will be held in Richard's honor.

Larry Earl Poe (July 31, 1958 – May 7, 2024)

Larry Earl Poe, 65, of Gary, IN passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He is survived by his children, Jesse (Mindi) Poe; Jennifer Moore and Larry Henry; grandchildren, Jesse Poe Jr.; Austin Poe; Justine Poe; Jacob Catlin; Kaitlyn Moore, and siblings, Richard (Felicia) Poe and Jerry Poe. Larry was an avid fisherman and hunter, often taking his beagles with him while rabbit hunting. He also enjoyed the freedom of the open road, while riding his Harley.
