Patsy Ann (Dill) Hall

February 23, 1946 – June 25, 2022

 

With broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our Mother, and Heaven’s new fierce angel, Patsy Ann (Dill) Hall.

She was born to William Clyde Dill and biological mother, Jessie Mae, in Okolona, Mississippi. Around the age of six, she moved with her Father and brothers to South Bend, Indiana, becoming a lifelong resident.  She grew up on the South Side, raised by her father and Mother, Ruth Maxine Dill.

She lived a life that she designed, often saying,  “I did it my way.”

Starting out as a young, single mother of three, never accepting welfare or any kind of assistance, she excelled at achieving her dreams, earning her Cosmetologist License and owning her own hair salon, Hair Kare, Georgetown Shopping Center, making lifetime friends, over a Forty plus year career. She also enjoyed bartending at Randall’s Inn and The Great Wall , sharing laughter with friends, for over 30 years. She retired from A Step Above, this past February.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Cherie A. Bittle (Rick Modlin), Niles, MI,  Carl R. Hall (Renee) South Bend, RuthAnn Davidson-Wittl (Thomas) Portage, IN. 7 grandchildren; Kristen Sailor, David Frazier, Heather Davidson, Brittany Frazier, Krystal Taylor, CJ Davidson, Amberis Hall, 8 great grandchildren.

Special Kids, Cynthia Leinen, Terry Leinen, Brian Cishke, Karmiron Lawson, South Bend, Brothers, James H. Dill (Sharon) and William C. Dill, South Bend.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends Sunday,  July 10th, 2p-6p est at Tying the Knot Hall, 1916 Fulkerson Rd, Niles, MI
