Sandra Lee (Werth) Woods, age 68, of Cedar Lake, IN passed away early in the morning on January 1st, 2021.

She was a beloved wife of Thomas W. Woods for a wonderful 51 years. Loving mother of Thomas Jr. (Dawn), Michael  (Lisa) and Jason (Jenny). Sandy was the proudest grandmother of Mikey (fiance Demi), Alyssa, Ashley, Owen and Nate. Sandy was an aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She is also survived by her mother, Maxine M. DeSonia and sister Karen (Mike) Wright.  Sandy is proceeded in death by many cherished loved ones including her father, Thomas W. DeSonia and sister Catherine M. DeSonia.
Sandy was a friend to many and enjoyed reading, spending time with family and friends, watching the waves crash on the lake and playing with her dog Jaxs. Sandy will be cremated in Crown Point, IN. and there are no plans for services at this time.
