Larry Eugene Boger,83, resident of Hobart, Indiana passed away peacefully in Hobart on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. He was born on January 22, 1941 in Gary, Indiana to Elden and Lillian Boger.

Larry is survived by his wife Cynthia Boger of Hobart, Indiana, his two daughters Jaci (Dan) Kreisel of Glenview, Illinois, and Lori Boger Justak of Hobart, Indiana, brother James (Susan) Boger of Covington, Indiana, two nieces, five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Randy Boger and daughter Shelly Boger.

Larry was passionate about his classic cars, trains, fishing, building, camping and most of all, his family. He graduated in 1959 from Lew Wallace High School in Gary, Indiana.  Larry was a hard worker and dedicated union member of the Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 20. He was an accomplished businessman and was always willing to help others with his knowledge. He admired, respected and donated to US Veterans organizations, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project.

A private Celebration of Life for immediate family will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Evergreen Memorial Park, 3815 W 39th Ave., Hobart, Indiana 46342, no reception to follow.
